In early August, Becky and Julie came on board – Becky Viccars as Account Manager and Julie Woodward as Motive’s Marketing Manager.
Becky
Becky very wisely moved up north to glorious Cumbria a couple of years ago, bringing with her a wealth of experience in account management. She works very closely with our key accounts ensuring that their online business strategies are achieved.
Becky is very much the “face” of Motive and the first line of contact for our key clients. We haven’t cut the direct contact with our developers and designers though, as we know how much these clients appreciate that open channel into the technical team. We believe that this is pretty unique to Motive and one of the secrets of our success. We believe that close customer contact = great customer service.
Julie
Julie’s role is a new one for Motive. Typically, we have been so busy looking after our clients’ websites that we haven’t had the time or resource to concentrate on our own. Julie’s main focus has been developing the new Motive website and creating a highly targeted marketing plan.
Julie’s background in sales and marketing majors in the hospitality sector - she has worked in global and national hotel chains as well as independents. When working with our hospitality clients, Julie knows only too well the challenges that they face in such a commercial and competitive industry. Because of her experience, Julie works with new clients and offers marketing advice to them as well as being responsible for marketing Motive.
Andy
In October Andy Hope came back to Motive as Project Manager. He was with the company prior to David buying it in February 2009 and had embarked on a new direction in his career. He couldn’t stay away though and has returned to strengthen the management team.
Andy has a varied role which involves him working on projects for Motive’s parent company, Smallworld Cable, as well as managing key projects for Motive’s clientele and scheduling staff.
