Business Development Manager : ref BDMW
Motive Technology requires a Business Development Manager to develop new business sales of Motive's Ecommerce platform in line with agreed targets. To plan and carry out sales activities and direct marketing, as agreed with Marketing Manager
- Maintain and develop a computerised customer and prospect database.
- Maintain and develop sales collateral and presentations for the eCommerce platform.
- Work with the Marketing department to ensure marketing strategies and activity are in line with sales activity.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email, post, telephone, and personal visits.
- Maintain a minimum level of telephone and face to face customer proactivity as agreed with your manager.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal development, order processing and accounts staff.
- Monitor the customer journey to ensure total satisfaction from first initial visit, through proposal, production, delivery, invoicing and final payment.
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
- Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys, where necessary.
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Salary dependent on experience.
