The IT department is adding to its team and are currently searching for Junior to Senior IT Technicians to support our forward thinking and innovative software development Group.
Joining the Kendal team, you will be assisting in the operation and support of all company and clients Networks, Servers and PC's.
You will provide 1st and 2nd line support to internal employees and external clients, across the UK, by answering the helpdesk phone and e-mail system, ensuring Helpdesk requests are logged and then resolved within the agreed period.
Although candidates are not required to have any formal IT/computer qualifications, a good standard of education to 'A' level or equivalent, is required. Experience of working within a commercial IT support environment is essential as is a demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services. An understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, Active Server Pages, together with MySQL and PHP, would be an advantage.
Candidates will need to demonstrate that they are self-motivated with a flexible attitude and the willingness to work as part of a team. Good communication, organisational and problem solving skills are also required. Candidates should be physically fit as IT Equipment may need to be relocated, plus be prepared, on occasion, to work out of hours.
A shift system is currently in place to cover the office between 7:00am and 7:00pm and you will be required to work within a rota of the three shifts, changing weekly.
Salary upto £40K dependent on experience.
